Small Update

Hi everyone! I'd just like to respond to the feedback we've been receiving lately, basically people clamouring for a well-deserved update! This is awesome... it lets us know that people out there are still interested in what Doug and I have created so far. I can't wait to get back to the trusty Doctor and his gang. To quote a poster: the Keys of Marinus await!

I owe everyone a huge apology for the delay this time. Doug held his end of the bargain ages ago with editing our last episode so we could upload it as a nice Christmas present to you, and I have failed to be available for recording ever since. But--I proclaim that I have never lost sight of the show and now it's high time to make amends! There will be no false promises on specifics, but I do assure you, Marco Polo will come to a close VERY SOON! :-)

    Am I the only one who feels like he is a subject in some nefarious psychological study whose topic is: Let's see how long we can keep people believing something will actually happen? The first experiment was thirty-seven days, and now they have upped the time to sixty-one days and counting.

    Please remember they set out to do a weekly webcast when they do have lives outside of it. That is a big undertaking with time spent beyond just recording it. I am eager to hear more and get their reactions to the episodes but we have to give them time to do this. I really want to see what they think of the end of this story and hear their comments to the next story but I can't force then to go any faster.

    I understand the difficulty and do not hold the delay against the Noobs. I just know that one of the hardest things to do when blogging, for example, is to write regularly when it feels like no one is paying attention. Given how fickle the podcast listening audience can be, I am concerned that the audience that is lost due to the delay will not come back, thereby deflating the Noobs and leading to even more delays followed by a smaller audience, etc.

    While I agree that the Noobs do not owe us another podcast, I must say that it is simple courtesy to tell the fans if the podcast has come to an end.

    Kevin did point out above that the next episode has been recorded, so the show has definitely NOT come to an end. I can't give you an set date as to when it will be uploaded, but rest assured that the show will continue.
